The Shamers and Carey relax at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel in Calgary before their performance at The Brier. With God as our witness, we could have sworn that the drinks in the room fridge were complimentary. Good thing we found out Jason had a credit card. The whole experience was eerily similar to a Beverley Hillbillies episode.
Brent, Irv and good buddy Tim meet the legendary KELLY JAY, the Crowbar front man and writer of the anthem "Oh What A Feeling". What a rush! As one of the first Canadian rock stars Kelly has awesome stories about John Lennon, Jim Morrison and even Pierre Trudeau. Irv's buddies still don't believe he went lingerie shopping with Kelly Jay...but that's another story. |

Men Without Shame meet Gary Perkins, the stage manager for The Backstreet Boys at a Premiere Global Xmas party. "Perk" has worked for people including Jimi Hendrix, Diana Ross, Heart, Metallica and many others. A true legend in the music biz.

Irv and Rocky meet St. Nick, Nick Gilder, writer of so many fabulous songs including Roxy Roller, Rated X, Hot Child In The City, The Warrior and many others at an appearance in Regina. Irv said after, "It was a genuine thrill to see the show and meet Nick. His voice is incredible...one of a kind!"
